Nothing is charged when you place the order. It's a 50% deposit once you approve your design proof, and the remaining 50% when your order ships. Charges appear on your statement as PlanIT Print Works, our parent company.

How does the proof work?

After you order, a designer builds a proof and emails it to you, usually within 3 to 5 business days. Nothing is made until you approve it. If something's off, ask for a revision and we'll redo it.

How long does an order take?

Typically a proof within 3 to 5 business days, then most orders ship 5 to 7 business days after you approve it. We plan every run to land at least a week before your event. Tight on time? Call (760) 345-2500 before ordering and we'll confirm we can make it rather than guess.

Is there a minimum order?

Most items start around 25 pieces, and it's shown on each product page. Bigger runs get better per-piece pricing. Need something smaller or a one-off? Ask us, we can often work something out.

What are the awards made from?

Reclaimed bicycle parts: chains, cogs, sprockets and rims, cleaned and refinished in our Palm Desert shop. Because the parts are salvaged, small variations in patina and finish are normal, and part of the look.

Do you take bike part donations?

Yes. We take worn chains, cassettes and cogs from shops and riders. There's a form on our recycling page, or call (760) 345-2500 and we'll sort out shipping.

What artwork do you need?

Vector is best (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF). A high-resolution PNG usually works too. Send whatever you have and our designer will tell you if it needs redrawing, which we can usually do for you.

We ship from Palm Desert, California with tracking, and you'll get the number by email when it goes out. For international or anything unusual, call us and we'll quote it properly.

What if something's wrong with my order?

If it arrives damaged, short, or not matching the proof you approved, we remake it at our cost. Send a photo and your order number to info@re-geared.com or call (760) 345-2500. Because we build to land ahead of your event, there's usually time to fix it.

Yes, and it's free. Use the quote form with your quantity, timeline and any artwork, and we'll come back with real pricing. Volume, materials and finishing all move the number, so a quote beats a guess.

What payment methods do you take?

All major cards. Schools, teams and returning accounts can often be invoiced instead, including purchase orders. Ask us and we'll set it up.

Minimums vary by product, from a single trophy up to 50 for medals. Need something outside that? Call us, we often have singles on the shelf.

Are the parts really used?

Yes, every chain and most gears are reclaimed from real bikes, then degreased and polished by hand. Run a bike shop? Send us your parts.

Bikes only?

Not at all. Runs, tris, swims, ski races, robotics meets, if it has a finish line or a podium, we'll build for it.

Do online orders get a proof too?

Every custom order gets a free digital proof within 3 to 5 business days, whether you order through the cart or a quote.

Every chain we wrap rolled real miles before it reached a mantel, and so did most of our gears. We collect retired drivetrains from shops and riders across the country, degrease and hand-polish them in our workshop, and build them into awards worth keeping.
