Who you're buying from
ReGeared is a wholly owned subsidiary of PlanIT Print Works, 39350 Berkey Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92211. All payments are processed through PlanIT Print Works, and that is the name that appears on your card or bank statement. Placing an order or using this site means you accept these terms.
Orders & proofs
Custom work is produced only after you approve a designed proof. Approving the proof confirms the design, spelling, dates, placements, quantities and options. Please read it carefully, because production starts from that approval and turnaround is measured from it. Errors that were present in a proof you approved are not covered by our remake guarantee, though we will always help you sort it out.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted when we confirm it. We may decline or cancel an order, and will refund anything already paid, if a product or price was listed in error, if we cannot verify payment, or if we cannot source the reclaimed parts a run needs.
Pricing & payment
Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping and applicable sales tax, which are confirmed on your proof. Custom orders are split into two payments:
- Nothing is charged when you place the order.
- 50% deposit once you approve your proof. This is what releases the job into production.
- The remaining 50% when the order ships.
By placing an order you authorize us to charge your payment method for both of those amounts at those points. Invoiced orders for teams, schools and returning accounts follow the terms on the quote. Quotes are valid for 30 days; pricing can change after that, particularly on volume runs.
Cancellations & changes
You can cancel free of charge any time before you approve your proof. After approval, the deposit covers design, setup and materials already committed and is non-refundable, and once a run is in production it cannot be cancelled, because every piece is made specifically for you. Tell us as early as possible if something changes and we will do what we can.
Timelines
Typical turnaround is a designed proof within 3 to 5 business days after we have your design specs, then most orders ship within 5 to 7 business days after approval, depending on size. We plan every run to land at least a week before your event. These are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and they depend on how quickly proofs come back approved. If you are close to your event date, call us before ordering and we will confirm feasibility rather than guess.
Artwork & intellectual property
You confirm you own or have permission to use any artwork, logos, or marks you send us, and that our producing them will not infringe anyone's rights. You keep ownership of your artwork; you grant us permission to use it to produce your order. We may show finished work in our portfolio or on social media unless you ask us not to, which you can do at any time.
Everything on this site that is ours, including our name, logo, photography and copy, stays ours.
Shipping & risk
We ship from Palm Desert, California with tracking. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier, but if a shipment arrives damaged or goes missing, tell us and we will make it right under the guarantee below.
Guarantee
If your order arrives damaged, short, or not matching the proof you approved, we remake it. Because we build every run to ship well ahead of your event, there is time to fix it before it matters. Reclaimed parts vary in patina and finish by nature, and that variation is not a defect. See Returns & Guarantee for how to make a claim.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost revenue or the cost of an event. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Riverside County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version in effect when you place an order is the one that applies to it. The date below shows the current version.
