Who am I buying from, and who processes my payment?
ReGeared is a wholly owned subsidiary of PlanIT Print Works, and all payments are processed through PlanIT Print Works. That is the name you'll see on your card or bank statement. Same company, same workshop, same people building your awards.
What's the minimum order?
Minimums vary by product. Wood base awards start at a single piece, medals start at 50. Need something outside that? Call us, we often have singles on the shelf.
How fast can I get my order?
You'll have a designed proof within 3 to 5 business days after we get your feedback on the design specs. Once you approve it, most orders ship within 5 to 7 business days, depending on size. We plan every run to land at least a week before your event, not the day of. Cutting it close to race day? Call us; rush runs are often possible.
Are the parts really used?
Yes, every chain and most gears are reclaimed from real bikes, then degreased and hand-polished, with no sharp edges. These are used parts, so the odd trace of residue is part of the character. A few gear styles are fabricated new when we can't source enough reclaimed ones to fill a run.
Can my bike shop recycle parts with you?
Yes. We run a bucket program for shops: fill a ReGeared bucket with used chain, front and rear chainrings and disc rotors, and we'll clean and refabricate them into awards. See how the recycling program works.
Do online orders get a proof too?
Every custom order gets a free digital proof within 3 to 5 business days of nailing down your design specs, whether you order through the cart or a quote. Nothing is made until you approve it.
Bikes only?
Not at all. Runs, tris, swims, ski races, robotics meets, if it has a finish line or a podium, we'll build for it.
I don't have artwork. Can you design the medal?
That's the normal case. Tell us the words, event name, year, placement, and we'll design the rest into your free proof. If you have a logo, upload it with your quote and we'll work it in.
Where do orders ship from?
Everything ships from our workshop via UPS/USPS with tracking, anywhere in the US.
What if something arrives damaged or short?
We remake it. Because we build your run to ship well ahead of your event, there's time to make it right before it matters.
Do you do season programs for teams and leagues?
Yes, artwork on file, volume pricing, delivery before every event. See Team & Event Programs.
Can I get custom-printed ribbons?
Yes, 18 stock colors are included, and custom ribbon printing is available on request. Mention it in your quote.
