Privacy Policy

Who we are

ReGeared is a wholly owned subsidiary of PlanIT Print Works, 39350 Berkey Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92211. All payments are processed through PlanIT Print Works, which is the name that appears on your card or bank statement. For anything in this policy, contact us at info@re-geared.com or (760) 345-2500.

This policy covers re-geared.com and any ReGeared ordering or quoting we do through it. It does not cover other companies' sites we link to.

What we collect

You give us most of this directly, when you request a quote, order, or make an account:

We also collect a small amount automatically: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used to keep the site running, secure, and free of abuse.

What we never collect

We never see or store your full card number. Card details go directly to our payment processor. Saved payment methods live with that processor, identified to us only by a token and the last four digits. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How we use it

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the business, and only with what they need to do their job. We do not authorize them to use your information for anything else:

If the business is ever sold or merged, customer information may transfer with it. We would tell you first.

Sign-in providers

If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name and email from that provider so we can create and identify your account. We do not post to your accounts or access anything else there.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and remember whether you dismissed a banner. These are needed for the site to work.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site, which pages are useful and where things are confusing. It sets its own cookies and records things like the pages you viewed, roughly where you are (from your IP address, which we have configured to be anonymized), and what kind of device and browser you used.

We have deliberately turned off Google's advertising features, so this data is not used to build an advertising profile of you or to follow you around other websites. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not track anything you do inside your account, and we do not send analytics from our admin pages.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's browser add-on, or by using your browser's Do Not Track or cookie-blocking settings. You can block cookies generally, but signing in and checking out will not work properly without them.

How long we keep it

Order and quote records, including artwork, are kept while your account is active and afterwards as long as we need them for warranty, reorders, tax, and accounting, typically seven years for financial records. Ask us to delete your artwork or account at any time and we will, except where we are legally required to keep a transaction record.

How we protect it

The site runs over encrypted connections. Access to customer data is limited to the people on our team who need it, protected by individual accounts with role-based permissions and optional two-factor authentication. Uploaded artwork is stored privately and is not publicly reachable. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously.

Children

Our site is meant for adults placing orders for events and organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email info@re-geared.com and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.

California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request deletion or correction, to receive a portable copy, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal informationas those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not process it for targeted advertising. To make a request, email us at the address above with the word "Privacy" in the subject line. You may use an authorized agent; we may need to verify your identity before acting.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the bottom of this page. If a change is significant we will tell account holders by email.
